On the opening drive from the Packers, the rookie safety, Kentrell Brice, sprinted and administered a tough hit on Atlanta’s Eric Weems. However, Brice, who led the Packers last week in tackles after replacing Morgan Burnett, landed directly on his shoulder and had to leave the field.

The game turned worse for the Packers as more players had to leave the field due to the injury bug. A „touchdoooown“ was all you could hear on all five possessions. Although the Falcons made it pretty hard for them, the Saints never gave up, which resulted in more intense game but the score wasn’t that much different.

The Falcons still have to work very hard to their goal, though. To get to the Super Bowl, they will have to be working on their defense much more. It is obvious that that is the only thing that might bring them down. They have to stop looking at the clock and start playing the whole game as if it was the first minute. They played a great game, but great is not enough.

The 49ers didn’t score a single goal in the second half, which was not much of a surprise to anyone as this has been happening from 3 consecutive games. But they need to change this as soon as possible to make the their fans happy.

Colin Kapernick of 49ers could only manage 40 passing yards in the second half. Quinton Patton had to leave the game in the first half due to a foot injury whereas Blake Bell got hurt while he was making a yard catch. Carlos Hyde ran for 71 yards in total, of which 43 yards were passed in the first half.

San Francisco 49rs at Atlanta Falcons saw once again a terrible performance by the 49ers.The 49ers would be rightly disappointed as their losing streak increased to 13 with this loss. The defense of the team plagued with injuries, allowed the Falcons to pass 550 yards. The coaching of 49ers by Trent Baalke was a big letdown too as he failed to make use of his best players effectively. Neither the defense nor the offense part of the team made a positive impression and the performance of the tea was really subpar.

NFL Week 14: Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, December 11, 4:25 PM, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

The LA Rams have lost 3 straight games, but with this lose against the Falcons, they have gone back in the rank for the play-off hunt. They suffered a 14-42 defeat against their rivals the Atlanta Falcons.

Matt Ryan had a 3-yard touchdown go to J. Hardy only 10 seconds into the game. The Rams started first with the ball. M. Thomas, who was filling in as the kick returner, bobbled. In the meantime, the Atlanta Falcons scored on their first game possession.

The Atlanta Falcons scored on a screen-pass touchdown to give them an early lead. The LA Rams had scored 14 points in their last 6 games. The resolve at game was uncomfortably low and their defense did not look strong.

J. Goff tossed a pick-6; his 2nd interception of the 1st half, the Atlanta Falcons looked phenomenal even without Jones. M. Ryan hit Gabriel with a sixty four yard touchdown.

The Falcon’s running back and Coleman scored his 2nd touchdown of the day against the Los Angeles. V. Beasley, Jr. constrained a fumble then scooped it up for a twenty one yard touchdown in a defense. NFL Week 13: Atlanta Falcons vs Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, December 04, 1:00 PM, Georgia Dome

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Falcons proved they were worthy oppositions, with the Chiefs taking a 29-28 victory. Unlike with Colts v Jets, the game was a close one, but the Falcons failed in their defense at home.

Matt Ryan might be one of the best QBs in the league, but he still needs to tinker with his talent, as he served up eight points to the Kansas safety Eric Berry like it was dinner. The best thing Ryan can do now is learn from his costly mistakes, or he will never fully reach the potential of the likes of New England Patriot’s Tom Brady.

However, not all the fault lies at Matt Ryan’s door, as the team’s rookie defenders missed tackles and attempted poor angles. With the team squandering three red zone opportunities, they should be happy they suffered such a close defeat.

The Chiefs have certainly proved they are a force to be reckoned with on the field this season, but even they would admit that this game was not their most exciting to date. One thing you cannot deny is that the Kansas City Chiefs have this season managed to pull of the biggest comebacks in franchise history – which should, if anything, be an inspiration to the New York Jets.

Earlier in the week, Arizona’s coach, Bruce Arians had spent a night in the hospital after complaining of chest pains. His team’s prompting wide receiver; Larry Fitzgerald said the team feels partly responsible for their coach’s condition.

Despite that, Bruce was on the pitch with his team on Sunday but it didn’t inspire his team that much. “There is not much you can take positive from this game,” Larry Fitzgerald said.

The record of the Eagles is 1-4 away from home, which is truly great.

Pederson wants the Eagles to win at home again, and he wants this to happen all season.

The Eagles will feed off the crowd, and the team will take advantage of this right away. They have eight home games, and they want also to look good in front of their crowed. The crowd will fill the stands quite well, and the Eagles will be very proud of this treat as well. The crowd is working hard to make it hard for any foe of the Eagles to win a game as well. Besides, they were able to set a 6-3 record, a move that gives them a reason to enjoy the moment before settling to meet their other rival in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are still holding on and hoping that Winston will display a more stellar performance against the Falcons when they clash again. This was after Winston displayed masterful performance when the two teams met in week 1 leading to a 31-24 win against the Falcons.

It was a late dramatic event at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta as the Falcons rallied in a late Goal from Mohamed Sanu, after an 11-yard pass from Matt Ryan, giving them a 33-32 win over Green Bay Packers.

Sanu ended the game with a record nine catches, his best considering this is his first season with the falcons and he has proven to be their main pin man.

The Falcons were led by Matt Ryan whose techniques and great passes (especially with an athlete like Sanu) in the second half paid a lot , recording a total 28 of 35 for 288 yards and also 3 touchdowns to accompany his evening.

It all looked like Green Bay Packers were going to take the evening after a 32-26 lead with less than 4mins left on the clock. But Matt Ryan and the Falcons produced stunning brilliance of finishes in the concluding minutes to win the game, setting a good momentum for their upcoming match at Tampa Bay this Thursday.

Jeff Janis, Trevor Davies, Geronimo Allison were Bays players that had their first career touchdowns, though it was not enough to save the day. But they can look on to more possibilities as they face Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

NFL Week 7: Atlanta Falcons vs San Diego Chargers on Sunday, October 23, 4:05 PM, Georgia Dome

This week’s action between the San Diego Chargers and the Atlanta Falcons was not left out in the large series of super-actions. The players were fight hard to ensure that they make their head coach proud but finally the odds fell on the visitors’ side.

The game had begun on a very high note that was very inauspicious. The falcons had not given up their traditional defense systems that have a tendency of giving up easy and cheap touchdowns form the opponents in the first drive. Their offensive tactics were also relatively slow in the first quarter. However they managed to earn some field goals. In fact, the Falcons were already trailing ahead of the Chargers 7-6 before heading to the second quarter.

By overtime, the game was completely on the side of the Chargers and the Chargers kicker, Lambo Josh was able to strike the winning gal that ensured that the Falcons suffered their third defeat in the season.

This was Russell’s 20th career fourth quarter/overtime comeback. Ryan finished with 335 yards runs and three touchdowns.

Other than the actual; game that went down, there were some side shows. The most notable one was Sherman’s anger eruption. He got extremely angry when Jones was left wide open after the blown coverage. He was so angry he kept screaming at his coaches and teammates. Many people tried to calm him down including Kam Chancellor, Michael Bennett, Thomas and Bobby Wagner.

Cleared lanes and missed tackles exposed the massive weakness of Blanco’s defense. The Falcons’ offense also took advantage of gaps left by Denver’s miss-passes in defense, accounting for 180 yards. Denver’s performance was generally weak as their attack failed to take necessary action as Lynch’s first start was showered with signs of possibilities but disfigured by a missed throws, miscues and indecision and managing only 84 yards on twenty four carries. The first pass he made was a 14-yard finish to Emmanuel Sanders that converted a third play. Denver’s offense was without Donald Stephenson; who has a calf injury. The Atlanta Falcons emerged victorious Monday night when they visited New Orleans. This game marked a rematch of the game that was held 10 years ago for the Superdome’s reopening after Hurricane Katrina. Sadly for Saints fans, their victory from that night wouldn’t be repeated as they fell 45-32. The Falcons running back duo of Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman proved to be too much to handle for an injury-riddled Saints defense. Coleman rushed for three touchdowns on the night and Freeman rushed for 152 yards on 14 attempts. For the Falcons it was a good thing the running game was working as star receiver Julio Jones was held to one catch for 16 yards. New Orleans actually started very strong in this game, scoring a quick offensive touchdown and then forcing a punt from Atlanta. On the resulting punt, two Saints collided resulting in a Falcons recovery deep in Saints territory. After capitalizing with the first of Coleman’s scores the Falcons never looked back. New Orleans faces an uphill battle to improve both their defense and special teams units. The loss sends them to the cellar of the NFC South at 0-3, while the Falcons are on top of the division at 2-1.

NFL Week 2: Atlanta Falcons at Oakland Raiders on Sunday, September 18, 4:25 PM, Oakland Coliseum

The Atlanta Falcons-made it clear that opposing defenses have more to be concerned with than All-Pro wide-receiver Julio Jones in-the passing match. After a disappointing Week 1 divisional loss to the Buccaneers, the Falcons had to travel to Oakland for game number two.

Quarterback Matt Ryan and the offense initially struggled in the red-zone before finding a rhythm and holding on for a 35-28 win over Oakland Raiders at the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday. A rather uneventful start led to a combined 6 touchdowns between the 2 teams over the second half. Ryan was highly effective after settling for 2 field-goals and throwing an interception during the Atlanta Falcons first 3 trips into the red-zone. The following 3 red-zone drives resulted in touchdowns. Ryan threw for 396-yards and 3 touchdowns while tight ends Austin Hooper, Levine Toilolo and Jacob Tamme combined to catch 10-passes for 179-yards and one touchdown.

The Falcons spent-much of the game using a 3 tight-end formation. They outgained the Raiders 227-yards to 167 in the 1st half and then built a 13-7 lead. The Raiders’ defense-allowed over 500 total net-yards for the 2nd straight match and coach-Jack Del Rio, a former-NFL linebacker & defensive-coordinator, vowed to have the problems fixed. Overall, the Falcons offense proved to be highly efficient and versatile, attacking with several players. Though good enough for the win, the defense will have to improve so as to remain successful moving forward.

NFL Week 1: Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, September 11, 1:00 PM, Georgia Dome

The Falcons, while down by a touchdown, got the ball back after another Buccaneers field goal, but would only get a single first down before the Bucs closed out the game. The game, for the Falcons, was an attempt to try to move forward from a bad season and try to reach the playoffs after missing them for the last three seasons.

Jameis Winston went twenty-three for thirty-two, throwing for 281 yards, with four touchdowns, and one interception. Winston also was able to shake off an early interception that led to the Falcons taking a ten to three lead in the game and hooked up with Mike Evans (wide receiver), Charles Sims III (running back), and Brandon Myers and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins (both Sefarian-Jenkins and Meyers are tight ends).

Matt Ryan went twenty-seven for thirty-nine, throwing for 334 yards, with two touchdown passes, and zero interceptions in the game.

NFL Preseason Week 4: Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, September 01, 7:00 PM, Georgia Dome

Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons showed how much the Jaguars are determined to compete in the season. Due to home advantage, the Falcons had many chances and they ended up beating Jaguars 17-15. It was always hard to pass through the defense line of the hosts and Jaguar attackers had to utilize any fouls that came into play.

Terron Ward was all over the field with two major touchdowns. Although he had missed prior games, he seemed more energetic and full of skills. Both teams included their quarterbacks, which made the game even more interesting. Shaq Evans return to the squad was also wise since he had many accurate and yielding moves and passes across the pitch. He had three catches within just 54 yards.

Some players’ efforts seemed suppressed such as that of matt Schaub whose only remarkable move was a 5-yard throw. Hooper, the Giants heart, had a rough time handling Stanford who seemed very aggressive but sometimes losing the game formation. Johnson showed his kickoff return skills as he made some great tactics as the first half ended. He was however silent in the rest of the game.

The win of the Falcons might mean that they have improved the game of the season. However, the Jaguars too had a great play and given that most of its players were absent, they are sure to have a great NFL season performance.

NFL Preseason Week 3: Atlanta Falcons at Miami Dolphins on Thursday, August 25, 8:00 PM, New Miami Stadium

The Miami Dolphins eventually came out of their third game in the preseason with a sense of confidence having emerged victorious over the Falcons with a 13-9 score. Following the unsatisfactory performance that had been previously witnessed, the team seems to be picking up under the leadership of their new coach Adam Gase.

Despite the positive energy and push witnessed during this game, this is not to say the team is finally on the right track. There are certain critical issues about the team that need immediate attention. The signing of players, field management and pay should be keenly looked at if positive results are to be sustained.

There are certain players that put their best foot forward to earn the Dolphins victory. The credit goes to linebackers led by Koa Misi. These players ensured they made the right play and tackled opponents with great precision and speed. They depicted efficient teamwork and brotherhood. Ryan Tannehill played his role in the pocket and took charge of the offense to propel the game forward. Line blocking and pass protection was well handled.

However, there are a few setbacks that need attention. Jordan Cameroon needs to work on his efficiency. The players at the cornerbacks and defensive lines need great improvement if the team has to perform.

He further deflected a Ryan pass in the first quarter of the match and had another pass of Matt Schaub negated by the Browns penalty in the second quarter. Initially the Cleveland Browns got the ball to begin the game.
